The Queen Victoria Gold Sovereign, also known as the Victoria Jubilee Head or crowned, is one of the most sought-after and prestigious of all sovereigns. The obverse features a portrait of Queen Victoria wearing a crown, while the reverse displays the iconic image of St. George slaying the dragon.
Minted during Queen Victoria's reign, from 1838 to 1901, in approximately 40 million specimens, these coins remained in circulation until the First World War. Although not considered rare coins, they are highly valued by collectors for their significant historical value and majestic appearance.
